Houston we are ready for take off

Hello everyone and thanks for checking out my blog! In just a few short days I will be filling you in from around 9,500 miles across the big blue. My flight will leave KC at 3:30 on the 21st, after a connecting flight I will leave LA at 11:30pm for Aussie. Because of the time change I will arrive in Melbourne on what will be the 23rd at 8:30am (thank goodness we will have a 250 foot long Boeing 777 for this journey). The 15 hour time difference will explain the date difference in all of my posts. Some of the exiting things on the itinerary include visiting Cargill Australia, a emu farm, various sheep and beef lots, a wildlife refuge, the Great Barrier reef/ northern tropical region (on my birthday!), and of course some of the major cities as well. I will check out and head for home at 3:30 am on June 1st and have a flight with in AU before actually leaving for the states. After four different flights and 22 hours of flying and I will regain the time I lost going over and arrive home on the evening of the 1st.
